For many years Melkio has lived the world of electronic music: as a raver, as a journalist, as a promoter.
Music and show are therefore part of the artist’s DNA that he has already tried to mix with his drawings and animations on some occasions.

Per molti anni Melkio ha vissuto il mondo della musica elettronica: come raver, come giornalista, come promoter.
La musica e lo show sono quindi parte del DNA dell’artista che già in alcune occasioni ha provato a miscelare con i suoi disegni e le sue animazioni.

Melkio’s idea of digital art as an experience, as a show, whichconnects the artist and the audience in a direct way.
The digital is therefore a means of real connection, experience, dance and wonder. The artist is on stage and every time something might happen that changes the show: a mistake, a change due to emotion… in short, nothing is more human hidden behind the perfect world of the digital.
The wordless electronic music represents both Melkio’s past and a universal language of percussion and repetitive rhythms, an ancestral language but interpreted digitally by electronic instruments, a perfect and coherent combination for a show that is as human as it is digital.

l’idea di Melkio dell’arte digitale è quella dell’ esperienza, dello show, che mette in contatto l’artista e il pubblico in un modo diretto.
Il digitale è quindi un mezzo di connessione reale, di esperienza, di ballo e di stupore. L’artista è sul palco e ogni volta potrebbe succedere qualcosa che modifica lo show: uno sbaglio, un cambio dovuto all’emozione… insomma nulla di più umano celato dietro il mondo perfetto del digitale.
La musica elettronica, senza parole, rappresenta sia il passato di Melkio che un linguaggio universale fatto di percussioni e ritmiche ripetitive, un linguaggio ancestrale che è interpretato digitalmente dagli strumenti elettronici, un connubio perfetto e coerente per uno show tanto umano quanto digitale.
2023: Melkio a/v performance on Techno Music – Genova

In 2023, thanks to the RADICI project, Melkio developed his first audio/video show. A show rooted in his raver past and featuring 45 minutes of animations and stories based on the melodic techno of FEL, a duo composed of Genoese producers Alessio Lerma and Giovanni Galvani.

Uno show radicato nel suo passato da “raver” e composto da 45 minuti di animazioni e storie basate sulla techno melodica dei FEL, duo composto da dai producer genovesi Alessio Lerma e Giovanni Galvani.
2025: Melkio Dreams live A/V Istanbul
A visual Journey into the ethereal and surreal atmospheres of the world of dreams.

Dreams is a live audio video performance by Melkio lasting approximately 20 minutes. The performance stages dreamlike stories to the rhythm of electronic music, mixing images, animations and visual effects constructed by the artist. The result is a multi- sensory entertainment experience based on fragmented stories typical of the dream world.
Melkio constructed the performance based on the concept of ‘digital artigianality’ by creating the content using little software and without the aid of artificial intelligence.

Dreams è una performance live audio video di Melkio della durata complessiva di circa 20 minuti.
La performance mette in scena storie oniriche a ritmo di musica elettronica, mixando immagini, animazioni ed effetti visivi costruiti dall’artista. Il risultato è un’esperienza multisensoriale d’intrattenimento basata su storie frammentate tipiche del mondo dei sogni.
Melkio ha costruito la performance basandosi sul concetto di “artigianalità digitale” creando i contenuti utilizzando pochi software e senza ausilio di intelligenza artificiale.
